Rock is awesome.. but there is a sad sad truth about disco music. The disco sucks movement sadly had a negative basis towards blacks and gays. Yes, a lot of jerky people burned disco records, but along with those disco records they burned soul records, jazz records, and just about anything with a black man on it. Disco demolition night was often an excuse to belittle gay/black culture and the music they cherished. It’s very typical of people to condemn something they don't understand, so if you want to spread the word reblog or w/e lol
